Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive Information Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade security solutions. You will play a key role in safeguarding digital assets, ensuring compliance, and protecting network and data integrity across multiple client environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage security architectures for networks, systems, and applications.
- Implement and maintain firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint protection.
- Monitor security alerts and perform incident response and vulnerability assessments.
- Conduct risk assessments, audits, and compliance reviews.
- Manage identity and access control systems, ensuring secure authentication.
- Collaborate with IT and network teams to remediate vulnerabilities.
- Maintain detailed documentation of security policies, procedures, and configurations.
- Stay current on emerging threats, tools, and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or operations.
- Proficiency with firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA) and SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, etc.).
- Strong understanding of network protocols, encryption, and access control models.
- Experience with endpoint security, VPNs, and cloud security frameworks.
- Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, or SOC2 standards.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Security certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CISM.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure) and automation tools.
- Familiarity with incident management and forensic analysis.
