Project Objective

The objective was to deploy a secure, high-availability passive cabling architecture and enterprise-grade CCTV surveillance system that meet the operational, administrative, and technical requirements of the Indian Air Force. The infrastructure needed to provide stable bandwidth, high signal integrity, reliable video capture, and strict compliance with defense security protocols.

Orchids deployed a CAT6A shielded structured cabling network designed for robustness, interference resistance, and long-term stability. Shielding was essential to protect data transmission from electromagnetic and environmental interference often present in high-security and equipment-heavy defense installations.

A fiber backbone interconnected communication rooms, operational offices, administrative facilities, and secure monitoring zones. This backbone enabled high-speed data movement and stable internal connectivity while meeting defense guidelines for segregation, containment, and routing integrity.
