Project Objective

The objective was to create a unified digital foundation that supports engineering collaboration, CRM systems, supply-chain platforms, remote design assistance tools, ERP systems, and large-scale hybrid communications. Avnet required an infrastructure capable of sustaining high bandwidth, low-latency connectivity, secure network segmentation, and enterprise-grade computing performance.

The deployment had to be uniform across Bangalore, Delhi, and Pune, with zero disruption to ongoing operations and seamless integration with Avnet’s global IT governance framework.

Orchids engineered a CAT6A shielded structured cabling system across all three Avnet facilities to deliver stable and interference-resistant connectivity for workstations, engineering pods, demo labs, sales floors, and collaborative zones. A fiber backbone interconnected communication rooms, server spaces, and meeting environments, enabling high-throughput data movement required for design files, supply-chain dashboards, and enterprise platforms.

Precision pathway planning, EMI-safe separation, optimized containment, and strict ISO–TIA compliance delivered a long-term-ready and highly reliable cabling foundation.

Enterprise Audio-Visual Ecosystem for Global Collaboration

Avnet’s business model relies heavily on interaction with global suppliers, OEM partners, and engineering teams. Orchids deployed an advanced audio-visual ecosystem across conference rooms, training spaces, client-engagement zones, and collaborative pods.

The AV solution integrated high-definition conferencing systems, intelligent microphone arrays, digital presentation interfaces, secure wireless sharing modules, room-acoustic optimization, and centralized controller units. Orchids implemented a standardized computing environment across Avnet’s locations to support engineering design tools, ERP systems, CRM platforms, analytics applications, and cloud-driven workflows.

Workstations were optimized for reliability and performance, while backend computing zones received upgraded server rack layouts, structured patching, improved cooling paths, and enhanced cable management. These upgrades reduced system downtime, improved user productivity, and ensured long-term supportability.

Deployment of Enterprise Network Hardware

Configurations included VLAN segmentation, QoS policies, secure authentication, optimized wireless coverage, redundant links, and bandwidth tuning.
