Security Analyst

Job Summary

We are looking for a Security Analyst to monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents across enterprise networks. You will play a key role in protecting client systems, detecting threats, and supporting proactive security measures.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and events across networks, systems, and applications.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and risk analysis.
• Investigate, analyze, and respond to security incidents.
• Maintain and update security tools, SIEM systems, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Assist in developing and enforcing security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Collaborate with IT and network teams for mitigation of threats.
• Produce reports and recommendations for management on security posture.
• Stay updated on emerging threats, malware, and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in security monitoring, analysis, or IT security operations.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, ELK, etc.).
• Knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus, and endpoint security solutions.
• Familiarity with network protocols, TCP/IP, and security standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Security certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CISM.
• Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of incident response, penetration testing, and compliance frameworks.
