Wireless Network Engineer

Job description

We are seeking a skilled Wireless Network Engineer to design, implement, and optimize enterprise-grade wireless solutions. You’ll be responsible for ensuring seamless connectivity, performance, and security across our clients’ wireless networks, supporting mission-critical business operations and collaboration environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and deploy wireless LAN (WLAN) solutions for enterprise environments.
• Conduct site surveys and RF analysis using industry tools (Ekahau, AirMagnet, etc.).
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve wireless connectivity or performance issues.
• Integrate wireless networks with existing infrastructure and security systems.
• Optimize network coverage, capacity, and reliability through continuous assessment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and configuration records.
• Stay updated on emerging wireless standards, technologies, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in wireless network design and deployment.
• Strong understanding of Wi-Fi standards (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax).
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Aruba, Ruckus, or Ubiquiti wireless solutions.
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Knowledge of network security, VLANs, and authentication protocols (RADIUS, WPA3).
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CWNA, CCNA Wireless, Aruba ACMA) preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with enterprise networking (LAN/WAN) and SD-WAN solutions.
• Familiarity with AV integration and unified communications systems.
• Project coordination or client-facing experience.
